Risks or problems which may arise on having a wisdom tooth extraction procedure are:

  • Pain, soreness and swelling in gum and tooth socket
  • Bleeding, which may last for as long as 24 hours after extraction
  • Limited movement or problematic movement of jaw
  • Dry Socket problem, sore pain after a wisdom tooth when a blood clot does not form properly in the socket.
  • Headache, which may be temporary or could be chronic and permanent
