Wisdom Tooth Extraction

Wisdom tooth starts appearing in the early adult age. This age is normally between 16 to 25 years. Wisdom teeth are also called "third molars". Due to few reasons, wisdom tooth causes problems. Facial swelling may also resulted from wisdom tooth extraction. To reduce swelling, use ice pad. Apply the ice pad to swollen facial area. Ice should be applied for 10 minutes and then give a half hour break. Repeat the procedure as per your need.

Following some simple things can make the healing process easy for you:

  • - Avoid physical activity and take rest for first 24 hours.
  • - Do not smoke for the first 24 hours.
  • - Do not touch the surgery area with your tongue or finger.
  • - Increase your liquid intake.
  • - Stay away from hard or crispy foods for 10 to 15 days.
  • - Brush your teeth carefully
