Dental cleaning at Bondi Dental
No dental check-up is complete without a clean. At Bondi Dental we have two highly experienced hygienists who will conduct a thorough gum examination, talk to you about best gum care and gently scale and polish your teeth. Cleaning removes any hardened plaque (tartar) and is carried out using special tools and/or ultrasonic scalers for your comfort.
Once your mouth is tartar free, the final stage of the general check-up and clean process is polishing. Teeth are buffed using an abrasive polish. This lifts any surface staining, leaving your teeth feeling and looking great.

What should I expect during a general check-up and clean at Bondi Dental?
Our Dentist will start by asking you a few questions about your general health. If this is your first visit, we might recommend taking a couple of X-rays. Then a thorough examination of your mouth, teeth and gums will be carried out. Our dentist will be looking for any signs of gum disease or decay and checking for any abnormalities or signs of oral cancer. This is followed by dental cleaning itself to remove any plaque and stains.
